Day 16
Nocturne: "Here we are... back to Sunset Valley!"
Calphurnia: "Oh how I've missed you so much, big white and black-stoned home!!"
Rosina: "Yeah, whatever.... I'm going to miss the stripping pole back at the penthouse in Bridgeport, though... maybe if I asked the Camera Crew, they will install another one here?"
Everyone: *facepalm*
Lyla: "Oh, YUCK!! We leave for 5 days, and Production can't even pick up after us?! Come on... we aren't the maids of this house! I shouldn't have to clean this up- it was probably Remy who left it in here!!"
* * *
Calphurnia: "Weee!!!!!!!!!!"
Calphurnia: "HEY! Nwa!"
Nwa: "Yes...?"
Calphurnia: "Take a break from your Journal, would you?"
Nwa: "To do what, may I ask?"
Calphurnia: "To join me on the trampoline, silly! Now that Remy is gone, I have no one left to jump with! Come on, what do you say? You know you want to..." ;) (that was not meant to sound seductive. XD)
Nwa: *chuckles* "Haha, sorry, Cal, but that's just not my thing. Seems pointless and repetitive to me."
Calphurnia: "And writing and reading through your journal over and over again isn't?"
Nwa: "Well, you got me there... but I do enjoy reading books, and I do, quite frankly, take pleasure in adding notes to my journal. It's all strategy. But alright... I'll join you."
Calphurnia: "YIPPEEEEE!!! I convinced the old man!"
Nwa: "I'm 23."
Calphurnia: "Oooh... awk."
Nwa: "Pardon me? What is, 'awk'?"
Calphurnia: "Uh... nvm."
Nwa: "...?"
Nwa: "Okay... just give me a moment...."
Calphurnia: "Alright, now just jump on! Come on, it's easy! And really fun!!"
Nwa: "Oh! Uh.... okay... so now I just jump up, and fall back down, basically?"
Calphurnia: "Yep! Just like this!!"
Nwa: "Okay... here I go... one, two...-"
Calphurnia: "THREE! JUMP!!!!"
Nwa: "Ah! Oh my... this is quite the adrenaline ride! I see how this could be fun!"
Calphurnia: "Yay! You're doing it! I now have a new jumping partner!"
Nwa: "It's not the best idea to do this in a suit and scarf...."
* * *
Rosina: "Oh wow!"
Rosina: "John's bed is now gone! That corner looks so lonely without his bed!"
Lyla: "And Peanut's has been gone for awhile... this room looks so big with both of them gone!"
Rosina: "Well, looks like it's just you and me now, sister."
Lyla: "Yeah... that's just... erm... awesome."
* * *
Day 17
Cameron: "You are so beautiful this morning, babe."
Chasity: "Aw... no different from normal, but thanks, handsome."
Cameron: "No really, you look even more beautiful today, you're hotter than the sun!"
Chasity: "Cameron... I look the same everyday. So do you."
Cameron: "..."
Chasity: "You see, the awesome thing about being a sim, is that you can wear the same clothes everyday of your life, and not even have to wash them! And the best part is, you never have a bad hair day! My hair is perfect everyday, and I don't even have to brush it or style it!"
Cameron: "... Oh. I guess you're right... can we like, make-out now?"
Chasity: "Oh course you can, you sexy little-"
Nocturne: "Ahem."
Cameron & Chasity: "What was that?"
Cameron: "OH! NOCTURNE!" *jumps up* "I uh... I didn't see you there!"
Nocturne: "That's okay..." *gets up, stretches, and yawns* "People don't usually see me here, since I just kind of blend in, ya know?"
Cameron: "Uh... yeah. So can you like, um.... leave? We were kind of in an intimate moment while you were spying on us."
Nocturne: "Wha-...? Oh, yeah, yeah, of course... I uh... wasn't really spying, I was just trying to sleep... but if you want me to go, I'll go right now..."
*awkward silence and stares*
Nocturne: "YEAH... I was heading out anyway. I'm just gonna go... bounce, if you know what I mean. See you guys... er... in a few minutes, I guess, since we live together..."
Chasity: "Buh-bye."
Nocturne: "Oh, yeah, of course. I'm leaving now. Don't you guys have too much fun without me!"
Cameron: "Okay... where were we?" ;)
Nocturne: "La la la la la la-"
*Ding, dong!*
Nocturne: "Yes! Mission time!"
Nocturne (reading out loud): "Please gather everyone up and follow these directions that will lead you to your next mission. Sincerely, Grey."
* * *
Grey: "Please gather up in a line, remaining contestants!"
Grey: "Alright, thank you. And welcome to your next mission... "Picture Perfect"."
"Here's how this mission is going to work... I'm going to need one Listener... aka, Builder, and the rest of you will be 'Describers'. You guys will decide who's who, but please note that the Builder is the most responsible person this mission, and will NOT get the chance to earn today's one and only HIDDEN exemption. The other 6 of you will may get a shot at earning this hidden Exemption. Also, those six must each pick a number between 1 and 6."
"After you guys figure out everyone's position and number, each of the Describers, one by one, will go to the other side of this lot, and take a peak at the room we have built..."
"Behind that red wall, lies the room. The room is filled with different types of furniture. Each describer only gets the see THEIR part, or rather, slice, of the room. Imagine the room in a photo, and cutting it up into 6 equal parts... here is how it's cut:"
"Every Describer has their own number, so they will be seeing that part of the room... after they memorize everything in their slice, they must come back over here and DESCRIBE their slice to the Builder. Once everyone has seen their slice, and described everything they saw in it to the Builder/Listener, he or she will then begin re-building the room, purely on the information from the Describers.
The basics of the room is this- couch, red wall, tan carpet... those things do not have to be changed, but many different types of furniture items will be added on. THEY MUST ALL FIT IN THIS 3 BY 5 SQUARE."
"Here is the vast amount of furniture items the Builder may use to re-create the "Original Room". The Builder is NOT allowed to pass that red line, otherwise they would be able to get a sneak peak of the Original Room, which would be considered cheating, since they won't be able to see any part of it. If they do pass the red line, this mission will automatically be for-fitted, thus none of the points will be added to the pot."
"This is the whole area... every kind of furniture item imaginable is set around the area, in different shapes, colors, and sizes."
Grey: "Once the Builder is done re-building the room, they will step aside, and I will match their room, with the picture of the Original Room. For each corresponding slice, that has the same EXACT furniture type and placement, that slice will add 10 points into the pot... Since there are 6 slices, this mission is worth 60 points. The only way to get all 60 points, is for the Builder's model of the Original Room to be an EXACT replica, and everything must be absolutely PERFECT. Thus the name, "Picture Perfect"."
*Nocturne, Nwa, and Rosina step up*
Nocturne: "I want another exemption... I pick number 6."
Nwa: "I agree... so I pick number 4."
Rosina: "I don't want to do the most work, so... I pick 1."
Grey: "Alright... The builder is still yet to be determined, as well as numbers 2, 3, and 5."
Chasity: "I'll be number 5..."
Cameron: "And 2 for me."
Grey: "Alright, Lyla, Calphurnia- I need one of you to be the Builder for this mission."
Calphurnia: "I'll do it-"
Grey: "Hold on a second... I'm receiving intel from Production... they're saying don't let Calphurnia be the Builder... hold on a second... I can't really hear them..."
Grey: "Okay, okay, I got their message. They said don't let Calphurnia be the Builder, we will save like a ton of time if we just go with Lyla... Don't know how they know this, but I have to obey, so, sorry, Lyla, you will be the Builder."
Calphurnia: "That's weird..." (I'm just joking with you, Jojo. XD It wasn't your fault, solely mine... :P I'm just making fun of myself. XD)
Grey: "Yeah, they said it would take like over a week if we let you do it, which would then make them somehow decide to wait and air this episode a month later... no really, A MONTH. And 8 days..." *blank stare* (inside joke... well, not really, you had to be at the thread... have I even posted the link on this website? If not, then here: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/428536.page Yep... that goes to The Mole thread on the Sims 3 site... I know, really interesting. But it took me like 38 days to get this episode out... I'm not kidding... look at the dates... 0_o)
Lyla: "Alright! I guess I'm the Builder! Yipee! Wait- aw, no, I have no shot at an Exemption!" :'(
Grey: "Lyla, try to remember everything everyone tells you to the best of your ability. Good luck."
"Everyone else, please sit... one by one, you will go take a look at your part of the picture."
"Rosina, you are number one, so you're up first."
Rosina: "Slice number one... I get to see the top left slice!"
(All really big pictures below are the actual slices of the room that the RL players received through email. I took a picture of the room, divided it into the 6 slices, and then sent each one out to the corresponding player...)
Rosina: (Everything that is italicized is what the ACTUAL PLAYERS of this game wrote... as mentioned above, they each got a slice of the picture, and had to use it to describe it on the thread, which Happyone (Lyla's creator) used to re-build the picture. She had no access to any slice of the original picture, so she was building it blindly [except she knew that all the furniture was to fit on that 3 by 5 square, and that it all fitted around that couch,], with only the other players descriptions to guide her. Everything Lyla builds is what Happyone put in the picture that she emailed back to me [her finished product... she opened her game up, built the room, took a picture, and sent it to me]. In order to make this episode, I had her sim, Lyla, place all the furniture and objects in the exact order Happyone had put it in her picture... that probably doesn't make any sense, but trust me, it worked. XD)
My picture has a maroon colored wall. To the right of my picture is a light brown wooden door. You can't see the full door as the bottom is cut off. The design of the door would be a square at the top of the door and a square at the bottom of the door (sorry if that doesn't make sense xD). The doorknob is silver. The door is the only thing in my (slice of the) picture.
Grey: "Okay, next up, Cameron. We'll just go up to 6 in numerical order."
Cameron: "
My slice is of a wall, no windows or floorings or ceilings. Almost in the middle but off-centered a bit is a picture. The frame is white; not pure white, but the kind of white you'd see on wood. The picture is of a spanish building (like one of those pretty buildings in Mexico or Spain? I don't know.) with palm trees and sky surrounding it. In the very bottom right corner of my slice in a small piece of a pink flower. "
Grey: "Thank you, Cameron... Calphurnia, you're next."
Calphurnia: "
There are only two things in my picture. A floor lamp and a plant. The lamp is on the left side of my picture. It is tall and thin, with a metallic colored pole and a yellowish top around the light bulb. The bottom of the lamp is cut off. The top is like an upside down triangle. On the right of the lamp, there is a light green plant with long pointy leaves. The plant looks almost like a bush- the leaves stick out a bit from the main plant. The bottom of the plant is cut off so I can't see what kind of pot it's in. "
Nwa: "
So, sort of in the middle of the room there is a brown, leather chair facing right. The back and the arms are pretty much the same height. Below the chair there is a gnome with a blue shirt and a red hat. The chair and the gnome are both entirely in my square.
The wall is a deep red and the molding is a dark brown wood. A little bit to the left of the right edge there is a brown wooden door, it has those grove things that follow the edge of the door. I can't see the handle. "

Chasity: "
A big portion of my slice consists of the carpet. It is a light cream colour and is textured. The texture is more prominent when there is a shadow cast on it (and can be seen to have a squareish type of checkered design).
The wall is a dark burgandy colour, and the skirting is dark Brown or perhaps black? in colour.
In the centre of my picture is a table. It is longer in length than it is in width and has a glass top. The table starts roughly a centimeter from the left side of the slice and does not end completely in my slice, though you can see the beginning of the end of the table. On top of this table on the left side is a sterio, which is black in colour. On the other side of the table there is a white angular plant pot with pink flowers. Though in my slice you can only see half of it (the left side) and it continues off into another slice.
Behind the table is a sofa which is perfectly alligned with the table. The sofa is a beige colour darker than the carpet, and would seat two sims. The top of the sofa is seen in my slice, but the slice goes no further than the height of the sofa. "

Nocturne: "
There's a tree in a pink and brown pot on the right side of the picture. There's a brown chair behind it and a gray base of a floor light to the left of the chair and behind it. On a table on the left is a white vase with a pink flower. "
Grey: "Thank you, Nocturne. Lyla, it is now time for you to begin. Remember, you have exactly 10 minutes to do this... if time runs out before you are finished, we will just go from what you have. "
Lyla: "I'm ready!"
Grey: "Oh, and you're going to need someone to help you... someone strong who can help you carry the heavier items back here."
Cameron: "I'm hella strong! You can count on me! I mean, have you SEEN these muscles?!"
Grey: "And one more thing... Cameron, since you are our Builder's helper, you can carry anything she asks you to back here. However, you are NOT allowed to tell her where to put anything else- you are only allowed to carry things back. Is that clear?"
Cameron: "Yes."
Grey: "Then Lyla... get ready... GO!"
Lyla: "We should start in the middle of the picture, and work our way out... wait- there are the tables! Chasity said there was a glass table in her slice... darnit! There are multiple! She wasn't quite specific enough... whatever, let's just go with this one. Hurry!!"
Cameron: "Just tell me where..."
Lyla: "Alright, drop it. Let me think... I think it's right in front of the couch. That would make sense. Let's move it there."
Lyla: "Okay, drop it. That's good. Now, time to find the pink plant!"
Lyla: "Crap... there's like 5 pinks plants here!!"
Lyla: "Okay, okay, what was she saying... On the other side of the table there is a white angular plant pot with pink flowers... well, there are only two white pots with pink flowers, and this is the only "angular" one, so score!"
Cameron: "Here's the stereo.... this is the only small black stereo, so I think it's right."
Lyla: "Alright, thanks. The stereo was on the left, the plant on the right.... there! Perfect! Now, let's try to find that door."
Lyla: "Nope, nope, nope..."
"It needs two squares, and a silver hand- Oh! There it is! Cameron, over here!"
Lyla: "Just take that back, please, while I try to find one of the chairs!"
Lyla: "Oh dear! That's a lot of toilets!! Glad Remy isn't here... he'd probably think they were real and try to use one!"
Lyla: "I don't recall any bathroom furniture in anyone's descriptions... what a waste, bringing all these gorgeous tubs and showers here, and they are not even going to be used!"\
Lyla: "Rugs... don't need any of those..."
Lyla: "Yes! Chairs! Okay, I need a big-ish brown leather one..."
Lyla: "That one fits!"
Lyla: "Oof... this is heavy!"
Lyla: "Okay... brown leather chair, check, facing right, check... where's Cameron?"
Cameron: "Right here! And here's the door... where do you want it?"
Lyla: "Just lean it right here... wait- move over a foot or so, it's going out of the 5 by 3 square perimeter. There. Perfect. Next!"
Lyla: "F***. All Nocturne told me was, 'brown chair'. That's not going to help with these many brown chairs..."
Cameron: "Yep... let's just check the living room chair section, that would fit more than these dining room chairs..."
Lyla: "Okay, well, there was only one of that other brown chair, so we need a new brown chair."
Lyla: "Let's just pick this one. Close enough... fits well with the other chair in there."
Lyla: "You take that back while I search for the lamp!"
Lyla: "Wait-"
Lyla: "Upside down triangle! Yippee!"
Lyla: "And it's grey metallic... perfect! This has to be correct, since it fits both Nocturne's and Jojo's descriptions... they couldn't both make up the same type of floor lamp to throw me off on purpose!"
Lyla: "I'll just move it over here with the lamp... could you move the lamp over to the wall for me?"
Lyla: "Okay, thanks.... hm... could you move it closer to the couch?"
Lyla: "Ack... that doesn't look right... move it back."
Lyla: 'No, no, that can't be right either, it's too far out... move it back.’
Cameron: "MAKE UP YOUR FRICKEN MIND ALREADY, WOMAN!!"
Chasity: *gasps*
Lyla: "Oh..." *averts eyes* "Sorry..."
Cameron: "PRETTY SOON, I'M GOING TO GRAB THIS POLE, AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR- oh... sorry, I may have some anger issues... sorry about that out-burst. Please continue to proceed. My dearest apologies."
Lyla: "Uh...."
Lyla: "Well then! We'll just leave it there for now! Um... next...the painting!"
Lyla: "Gosh.... there's so many!!"
Lyla: "Ooh... pretty!"
Lyla: "No, no... no 'Spanish' buildings here..."
Lyla: "Ah... I think this is it! Palm trees, sky, white frame... perfect!"
Lyla: "Good job on describing it, Cameron! But I think they have a name... aren't they called Missions or something? Whatever, this is correct, I'll bring it back... enough lolly-gagging!"
Lyla: "There, right above the couch... awesome. Okay... what else is there?"
Lyla: "I'm pretty sure I counted 11 items, including the couch... I'm missing two."
Grey: "You have exactly 2 minutes left."
Lyla: "Shoot! Quickly, Cameron! We need to find... what was it... oh no... oh yea, the gnome! Come on!"
Cameron: "I think you can carry a gnome by yourself."
Lyla: "Oh, right..."
Lyla: "Okay... where are you, little man?"
Lyla: "Not anywhere around here..."
Lyla: "This is impossible! He's not even here! Oh... haha, there you are! And he's waving at me, too!"
Lyla: "Okay... right in front of the chair. Perfect."
Lyla: "Okay, I need to sit and think for a second... 11 items, one left.... oh god, this is so stressful... um... hm... I don't know!! What else was there?! Maybe I miss-counted... Maybe I have it all?"
Lyla: "Everything looks about right... I'm not sure there's anything to add. I got the chairs, the plant, the table, the stereo, the gnome, the door, the lamp, and the painting..."
Chasity: *whispering* "There's another plant!"
Lyla: *glances at Grey* "Oh yes! I forgot! The second plant!! I'm so glad that just magically came into my mind!!"
Grey: "30 seconds."
Lyla: "Oh FLEWSH!!!" (lol. XD)
Grey: "...8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2-"
Lyla: "Done!!!"
(NOTE: While taking pictures, I installed the "Create A Pet Demo" on the Sims 3 site, but later found out that it wiped out ALL of my CC... :/ So, I made an attempt to rein-stall some of it, but unfortunately, some is now lost. :( Therefore, some of the characters will have different hairstyles or clothing items for the rest of this episode... hopefully it will only be temporarily. So, just note that these aren't any "Hints", or "Clues" to the identity of the Mole, it's just a bug in my game!!!)
Grey: "Alright Lyla, time is up. Your work is done, so now I can evaluate how well you guys did on this mission."
Grey: "Alright... I'm going to show everyone the Original Room, in a picture. Everyone has seen a slice of it so far, except Lyla, but now you will all be able to see the entire picture. "
(And here is the picture that Happyone herself sent me... I just tried to reconstruct it in the game, and looked closely as to where she placed the furniture items. PLAYERS: this mission is FILLED with sabotage- some mistakes were made on accident, some on purpose, but it's your job to distinguish between the two. You may even want to study the pictures for awhile, just to see how well everyone described their slice, and how well the Builder built it all together.)
Grey: "Okay, comparing them together, slicing them into 6 parts, I can say with confidence that TWO slices are absolutely perfect... unfortunately, there are 4 which are not."
Grey: "Slices 2 and 3 are the correct ones. Lyla's re-make of it matches identically with the original. I will now list the mistakes with the other slices:
1- The door is correct, but the only thing wrong, is that the handle is on the wrong side. Rosina forgot to mention what side the handle was on.
4- Not only is the chair facing the wrong way- South East instead of just East- there is also an item there that's not supposed to be there. A gnome. But, the gnome is actually there for a good reason- THE HIDDEN EXEMPTION! Whoever selected slice number 4, got the option to describe a gnome into their slice, even if there wasn't really one there. That person is Nwa, and even though he knew adding the gnome in there would force his slice to earn 0 points instead of its full 10, he took the offer, and has earned this mission's exemption."
Nwa: "Dearest apologies, everyone. But I believe you all know why I did it, and trust that you shall not hold any grudges uponst me." (Sorry if his speech sounds... off. :P I have to read Shakespeare for English, which I can tell you up front, is not fun, but Nwa seems like such a serious characters, that I might accidentally begin making him sound like Romeo. XD)
Grey: "Also, for number 5, that is the incorrect glass table. But the stereo, flowers, and the placement of the two on the table is correct. However, just one small mistake will cost the whole slice.
Though, the table is not the only thing- Chasity mistook the RUG under the table as a SHADOW, but that is incorrect. There is actually a rug under the table, which you can see in the picture, and it is NOT a shadow...
For number 6, everything is correct except the chair type- that is the incorrect chair, the one in the original room, and in this picture, is indeed brown, but different."
Grey: "Two slices right, 20 points, out of a possible 60. The pot held 193 points, but now holds 213, out of 464. The Mole appears to be doing better than the players, and definitely out-smarting them."
Lyla: "Aw... after all that work, and only TWO?!"
Grey: "Good job, contestants. You may now go back to where you are staying... see you tomorrow night for Dinner, and then the next Execution!!!"
* * *
Mission Scores/Results:
Already been shown... every super large picture in this episode was used for the real life mission. Everything the characters did this mission is basically what the actual players had to do. (Minus running around a large field carrying large furniture items to and fro. :P)
CURRENT POT: 213/464
Mole I'm watching you
